Eden Garden, Zhavame, Phek. Nagaland  

And there we were at Eden’s Farm with Rose Rekha Dukru and her Dad. An inspiring story that is yet to be told. With little or no assistance from the Govt, her dad had converted the land into an organic gold mine. The main produce is Kiwi Fruit and Cabbages. Apples will be available for the local market from next season. This Beautiful Village of Zhavame, a village where no labourers are sourced from outside. I am encouraged and inspired by the hard working people of the Land. We still have hope and this story needs to reach out to the other villages. Also happy to find out that the veg produced are purely organic and I hope that people look forward to the ‘Eden garden’ label on their food table.
